At sbshastriji.com, we strive to provide every client with high-quality Vedic astrology consultation. We understand that situations can change, and have framed this Refund Policy to be fair to both our clients and our practice.
1. General Principle
Astrology consultations are a service-based offering. Once a consultation has been delivered (whether verbally, in writing, or both), the service is considered rendered and fees are non-refundable. However, we offer flexibility before the consultation begins.
2. Refund Eligibility Schedule

3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is offered as a flexible alternative to cancellation:
- You may reschedule once free of charge if requested at least 12 hours in advance
- Subsequent rescheduling requests may attract a small administrative charge
- Rescheduled appointments must be utilized within 30 days of the original booking date

If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be initiated within 3-5 business days of approval
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during booking
- Bank/payment gateway processing may take an additional 5-10 business days
- For international payments (NRI clients), refund timing may vary based on the payment processor
6. Non-Refundable Services
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Completed consultations (verbal or written)
- Hawan, yagya, and puja services once preparation has begun or items have been procured
- Customized written reports once delivered
- Gemstone recommendations once procurement has been initiated on your behalf
- Any service where the time or material commitment has been made
7. Quality Concerns
If you have a genuine concern about the quality of consultation:
- Please raise it within 7 days of the consultation
- We will review the matter sincerely and may offer a follow-up session, partial refund, or other resolution at our discretion
- Subjective dissatisfaction with predictions or remedies does not qualify for refund — astrology is a guidance tool, not a guarantee
8. Force Majeure
If we are unable to deliver consultation due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, technical issues, natural events), we will:
- Reschedule at the earliest convenient time, OR
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not feasible
